Mike Fischer
Tennis Director
Raised in Fairfield, California, Michael was a 4-time All American and 2-Time League MVP for the Varsity tennis team at Vanden High School. After high school, Michael attended Santa Rosa Jr. Community College to play tennis where he played number 2 singles and number 1 doubles. In 2008 he won the California Community College Regional Doubles Championship and was named a Community College All American. After college, he became a USPTA certified teaching professional and started developing junior athletes at Cello International Tennis Academy. He also developed his own client base, teaching private lessons and group clinics to the residents of Solano County, Napa and surrounding areas.
Respectably, Michael has 20 years of playing experience, 15 years of professional coaching, and is a certified USPTA Elite Professional.
His background working at these various levels has provided him great perspective on the game of tennis and he is looking to share his knowledge with all new and existing tennis players and juniors.
He was the Head Pro of CITA Academy, held the position of Tennis Director with Cliff Drysdale Tennis management company at In-Shape Fairfield Rancho Solano and is the Tennis Director at Napa Valley Tennis Association.
Annika Fischer
Schedule Coordinator & Business Development Manager
Annika is administrative support to Mike and helps to oversee and manage everything for Fischer International Tennis Training off the court. She handles all new business inquiries, scheduling requests and helps to put on fun socials and events.
Born in New Mexico but raised in Sonora, California, Annika became an athlete at a young age by playing soccer and then ventured into volleyball and basketball. Having played on teams and rec leagues all throughout her childhood and into high school, she developed a big presence on the field and court and thrived off of competition. She is an athlete at heart.
Studying Sports Management, Pre-Law and Business Management in school, Annika graduated with a degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California in 2011. She began working at 24Hour Fitness during college and after graduation she continued her career with In-Shape Health Clubs in Stockton. When ISHC acquired Millennium Sports Club, she moved to Solano County and resided as the General Manager of the Rancho Solano club. Rancho was her first club experience with dedicated tennis clientele, USTA teams and leagues, and managing a facility with 11 tennis courts. This is also where she met Mike!
Now Annika works with a successful nutritional research and development company in Fairfield and is an active member of the Napa Valley Tennis Association Board of Directors. She enjoys taking FITT’s weekly clinics and playing on USTA teams in Napa and Fairfield.
